How long does the home security check take?
This very much depends on the property size and client instructions. Clients may require for only certain rooms to be checked and make this known to us during the booking process.
Our checks will be long enough to uncover obvious signs of an emergency and maintain a lived-in appearance.
Can I leave kid(s) at home during a Wait-In booking?
No. Child care is neither a service we provide nor insured to provide. We expect properties to be unoccupied while we wait-in. Should the property be occupied, we may cancel the appointment and you may still be charged. Dogs, cats, and other pets should be kept in a room with the door closed.
When do you require a set of keys for the property?
Home Security Check Service Range – We collect keys at the initial meeting with you. Please ensure you have a spare set of keys that have been tested.
Keys are returned per agreement. Regular clients are happy for us to retain a set of keys which we keep safe. There may be a charge for multiple key pick up.
Wait-In Service – Key collection may not be required. Key holding arrangements to be agreed with client during the booking process.
How long in advance of service start date do I need to book?
We try our very best to accommodate and book requests at short notice. However, to avoid disappointment we would appreciate as much notice as possible. For new clients, at least 2 weeks notice would be ideal.
What happens if there is an emergency?
Urgent contact will be made with the client and/or their nominated emergency contact. Emergency services may also need to be notified.
What are your payment / cancellation arrangements?
Payment expected in advance of service provision. Short notice cancellation may remain chargeable. Refer to Terms and Conditions for details.
